Google Earth

Google Earth is much faster, so the Earth maps are not broken up into separate detailed maps.
Also, Google Earth gives you better tools for measuring the length of a planned hike.
First obtain the software (downloadable for free
from www.googleearth.com).
Right click on My Places,
pull down add, then network link, and paste the following into the "link" space:

There is also another Google Earth map for Chelmsford which shows all the parcel boundaries
for the various conservation areas, along with their abutters. This is a big file -
it takes a minute to load but it's pretty sprightly after that. Don't try to view in
Google Maps - it chokes.
