| 7/2/2009 | Chelmsford changes: Consolidated all Chelmsford Google Maps into one, rather than using the overview and detailed maps. GMaps has gotten faster, for one, and it's easier to maintain. The Chelmsford trail stewards are finalizing their trail system and are supplying me with new GPS data as that happens. I am feeding the maps back to them for their GIS system. As part of this, today I updated the Russell Mill and Lime Quarry maps. Bob Giunta pretty much authored the whole Russell Mill map - thanks! |
| 3/24/2009 | Per meeting with Chelmsford land stewards and ConsCom on 3/15/09: Changed trail names in Lime Quarry map, and marked one no entry. Fixed broken description links in many Chelmsford detailed maps. Removed Robins Hill and "not done" areas from Chelmsford overview. |

Still tweaking - like that little bookmark icon... Trail mapping is on hold - it's hard to see unfamiliar trails in the snow. |

Checked all the maps with a .kml validator and fixed some errors.
Added more text to the How to... page, about Google Maps errors and GE parcel overlays and overview maps. |

| 11/26/2007 | There was trouble somewhere in Google land loading .kmz files, so our maps weren't loading into Google Maps from Thanksgiving until yesterday. Other people reported the same problem (in groups.google.com and this other discussion). Seems OK now (fingers still crossed). |

Added Robin Hill Reservation (Thanks, Scott!) and the power lines near the BB Wright Reservation in Chelmsford.
Also added a new map which shows parcel boundaries of all the conservation areas in
the Chelmsford Google Earth version. Check it out by loading
